I take photographs on a whim. What's that all about? It's the unpredictability, the thrill of capturing a moment that means nothing or requires the least input from me as possible. It's about embracing the unexpected and finding beauty in the ordinary.
Obviously, I think continuously about the imagery and meaning, yet I take a photograph with as little attention as possible. To this, I use a digital point-and-shoot camera with a 28mm lens, and the settings are remedial. One key focus point: literally, point and take the shot. The beauty of it is that you don't need fancy equipment to start. The real work always comes later.
